graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Film and a Minor in Art History. Michael is an award-winning director, cinematographer, soundtrack composer, and editor who has worked on installations, music videos, shorts, commercials, social media campaigns, and documentaries, including a feature length documentary film covering material and interviews from across the country.
He has managed and developed social media film campaigns for large educational institutions like Johns Hopkins and directed music videos. Michael was raised in Texas, and moved to Germany when he was seven. As part of his post-wall German heritage and upbringing, he was exposed to multicultural viewpoints and credits his upbringing as inspiring a passion for neorealism. As a result, his style includes a blend of noir, nostalgia, classic western, and conceptual and experimental art.
Michael is currently working on upcoming music videos for local Dallas artists and furthering his artistic passion by experimenting with narrative films.
